Welcome to BuildStep. By downloading or using our app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BuildStep, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

BuildStep is a construction project management application designed for iOS devices. The app allows you to create process templates, track house builds, and manage construction schedules. All data is stored locally on your device and synchronized via your personal iCloud account.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use BuildStep only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
• Maintain the security of your Apple ID and iCloud account.
• Be solely responsible for all data you enter into the app.
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

BuildStep offers a free tier and a paid subscription ("Pro Builder"). Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions.

• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.

5. Apple Standard End User License Agreement

BuildStep is licensed to you under Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). By using BuildStep, you also agree to the terms of the Apple Standard EULA. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the Apple Standard EULA, the Apple Standard EULA shall prevail with respect to your use of the app.

6. Data and Privacy

Your data is stored in your private iCloud container. We do not have access to your project data. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more information.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

BuildStep is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BuildStep and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or business opportunities.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
